    What's different?

This issue of In Utero was mispressed in 2003 using the original unaltered Steve Albini mix which sounds much different than the regular version.
The most obvious difference is Kurt's guitar riff in the midde of Heart-Shaped Box with a kick ass echo effect.
All Apologies is louder and more rockin as well.

  How to spot one:

The first and easiest thing to look for is of course the catalog number.
Another thing to look for is the matrix.
Also the barecode would be nice to know.
Universal Music (UK) in printed on the bottom right of back side.

    What's different?

As both the cover and the cat.no on both the EU/US and UK picture discs are the same, the only way to tell the difference is to look at the barcode on the back.
